In this WEB BASED 1-day class, you will learn to effectively use basic features of the Accounts Receivable module. You will be taught the accounting cycle and processes required to enter invoices and receive payments from customers. This course will show you how to perform additional functions such as credit memos, prepayments, small balance write off, print customer statements, reverse and void payments, and month-end closing. You will learn to set terms for calculating document discount dates and due dates, use balance forward and open-item statements, and apply any mix of comprehensive service and finance charges available.

Purchase Order Full Day Web Based Training Class for Dynamics SL

You are invited to attend an upcoming web-based Training Class on Purchase Orders for Dynamics SL. You can attend the class from the comfort of your own office or home.

In this WEB BASED 1-day class, you will learn to effectively use basic features of the Purchasing module with your Purchasing business process. You will be taught purchase order entry, receipts processing, returns, daily and period-end procedures and developing problem solving techniques. You will also learn how Purchasing and Accounts Payable work together.

This class describes the business processes surrounding the Purchasing module and then demonstrates integration points between the business processes and the Dynamics SL system. You are introduced to the purchase order transaction where individual procedures and fields are discussed. You will gain experience with reports that affect purchase orders and given context for their use in the business process. Receipts are introduced, and the reports that help receiving are reviewed. You will gain experience with returns and the integration between the Purchasing module and Accounts Payable module.

This WEB BASED 1-day course begins with an overview of how the Accounts Payable module works with the other Microsoft Dynamics SL modules. The class continues with a general description of the Accounts Payable processes and a simple example walks through these processes. A detailed description of the voucher entry and check printing processes and special features of the module will be discussed.

While it is not the intent to cover every aspect of the Accounts Payable module in this course, the intent is to provide you with the following:

  • A solid understanding of the transaction cycle and the ability to enter, process, and verify voucher, adjustment and check transactions in the Accounts Payable module.
  • An overview of how the transaction cycle coincides with the Dynamics SL accounting cycle
  • A review of other important features of the Accounts Payable system, including entering vendor invoices, check printing and processing, voiding checks, and issuing prepayment checks.
