Stephen J. Toth
President
Steve Toth is an experienced MBS senior consultant and has worked as a Senior Project Manager for the last 15 years. Before becoming a financial systems consultant, he held a variety of high-level financial positions. Steve held the Audit Manager’s position with the accounting firm Coopers and Lybrand; served as the CFO of NMR of America, a publicly-traded medical technology company; and was CFO of Assisted Living Concepts, where he managed the company’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. He was previously certified as a CPA in both New Jersey and Oregon. Steve has successfully designed and implemented more than 90 Dynamics SL project, distribution, and financial systems.
Jered Cady
Executive Vice President
Jered Cady has worked in the computer and software business for almost 40 years. He has a deep understanding of business processes in the financial, project accounting, and distribution markets, and broad experience in financial reporting and analytics. A former employee of Timeline and Solomon Software, he has worked in the financial reporting and budgeting market for 20 years and in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP market for 15 years. Jered brings his 25+ years of sales and marketing background to Synergy as Executive Vice President.
Rob Wallace
Vice President - Intacct Practice
Rob Wallace has 23 years of software sales and consulting experience in both private and public companies specializing in ERP, Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Warehousing for medium and large enterprises. Prior to joining Synergy, he held sales and consulting leadership positions at Predixion Software and Microsoft in the Predictive Analytics, BI, and Data Warehousing solution areas. While at Microsoft, Rob also worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group and led the acquisitions of companies to accelerate Microsoft's time to market for its BI and Data Warehousing offerings. Rob began his career in public accounting and later held CFO positions for emerging companies in manufacturing and software development. He is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Washington.
Bill Perrin
Vice President of Operations
Business Intelligence Practice Manager
Bill Perrin has over 30 years’ experience in business and financial management. For the last four years he has worked as a Senior Project Manager consulting on Microsoft Business Solutions implementations. Prior to that, he held the title of Vice President of Finance for a heavy-manufacturing firm and CFO of a large beverage distribution company. Bill was previously certified as a CPA in both Texas and Oregon, and is also certified as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is certified in Dynamics SL Financials, Inventory, Order Processing, and Project Controller. Bill is also very experienced with building reporting data warehouses and designing financial and operational reporting systems using Excel-based Analytics.
Donna Hurst
Director of Operations
Donna Hurst has 17 years’ experience in all phases of accounting systems. She has held positions including Accounting Clerk, Accounting Manager, Business Manager, Client Services Manager, and Independent Consultant. Donna has experience with multiple accounting systems. Her experience ranges from preparing financial statements, budgeting, report writing, developing and re-engineering business process, to implementing new accounting systems and procedures. Donna has been involved in the installation, implementation, and support of Dynamics SL software (formerly Solomon) since 1996 and is a Dynamics SL Certified Master. Donna holds MBS certifications in Dynamics SL Installation and Configuration, Financials, Inventory & Order Processing, Crystal Reports, and FRx.
Michael Camp
Director of Marketing
Michael Camp has over 15 years experience in marketing including the last eight years in technology and software products. He has held positions including Marketing Specialist, Senior Writer, and Marketing and Public Relations Manager. Michael has a M.S. degree in business. Prior to joining Synergy, he managed the marketing department at Insynq, Inc., Tacoma, WA, an application service provider and owner of the Appgen accounting package. Michael’s experience in online advertising, web and digital design, writing, and developing strategic marketing plans helps him fulfill his responsibility of driving Synergy’s lead-generation campaigns and branding strategies.
Cindy Smith
Client Services Manager
Cindy Smith has a varied background in accounting and distribution including 15 years of accounting experience. She became a Dynamics SL (formerly Solomon) user in 1998 when she helped design and implement a project accounting system. She has done AP, payroll, financial reporting, cost accounting & analysis, purchasing and inventory management. After using Dynamics SL for years she began consulting for Synergy in 2003 with an emphasis on distribution. Cindy is a Dynamics SL Certified Master holding certifications in Financials, Distribution, Project Controller and Payroll.
